Educational Mission

TrainSat 1

1U CubeSat · Systems Engineering Model

TrainSat 1 is a 1U CubeSat designed to serve as a hands-on educational model for undergraduate satellite systems engineering. The project provides students with real-world experience in mission design, subsystem integration, testing, and operations — bridging the gap between theory and practice.

Ongoing project — spanning two academic years (2026/27 – 2027/28) as the first of many under the TrainSat Programme.

Students gain hands-on experience in attitude control, power systems, telemetry, and payload integration — preparing them for careers in the growing space industry.
